Helpful Score: 1
I rather liked this story and its shortness. It made for a quick and wild read, just like I prefer it. Sometimes certain Author's write 350+ page epics and frankly they are as boring as watching snow melt. I don't really want to know every detail, told several times over, of every character that is in the book. Cobble does not do that. It lets you into these peoples lives for a brief time and trust me, it is brief. Excellent story line and I thought execution was pretty good.
The only negative thing I can say about this book is how horrible the proofreading/editing was. It really detracted from the story at times. At some points the sentences don't even make any sense and I had to read them twice or three times so I could figure out what the main thought being conveyed was. In a story this short this is inexcusable. There really is no reason why more attention to detail could not be spared.
All in all, this was a good read and I recommend it, even with the abundance of spelling and grammatical errors.
