This is Seth and Harper's story in the 'in too deep' series. I started with teh 2nd book and did ok but I think this one really needs to have the 2nd book read before it and the 3rd book after it. I like Seth(delta soldier) but Harper(the doctor) I didn't like. Even later I still didn't like the woman though could tolerate her. There's an ongoing story that begins with 'closer' which I missed because didn't realize it began the series. then I think 'relentless' is next, then this one, then 'reckoning'...Seth has lost his hand from a gunshot and has to get a protheses and deal with all sorts of emotional and physical issues. The doctor(Harper) wants nothing to do with their mission and thinks she's being put 'in danger' because of them and refuses to face the fact that she's already on the govt 'hit list' along with the rest of them fo rthe same reason: they were framed and not because of her helping them. I really wanted to whack this woman upside the head but glad I read it since it helped link the 2nd and 4th books together and gave insight to the doctor.
