I was not disappointed at all in this lovely book. I love a good commentary on friendships, particularly those who stand the test of time. This is a perfect example. The friendship of the young girls was sweet and called to memory those of my own life. But, it is the adult friendship that makes this book so perfect. If you are a friend or have ever had a friend, you will love this book. If you have lost touch with a friend of long standing you MUST read this book.
