What a strange book! This is more like a collection of short stories, as chapters take place days, months, or years after the each previous chapter. It does work as a whole though. Though some of the scenes are very disturbing, it is also uplifting at times. (Not the ending, however).
Soft Apocalypse is definitely a unique work in a crowded dystopian market.
