I wanted to like this book, but it was not worth reading. She's a black woman who is gorgeous much the same way Tyra Banks is gorgeous. The heroine runs several sexy lingerie shops, is a millionaire many times over, but is still a virgin at 28 years old. She doesn't know anything, and I mean anything, about intimate matters. I have a hard time believing someone in those particular circumstances is still a virgin. I realize there are many 28 year old virgins, but how many of them are beautiful and owners of sexy lingerie stores? The heroine is also very whiny and prone to pity parties.
The character development and storyline aren't good. The author glosses over sections that should have been more detailed. I found myself skipping and skimming sections just to finish the book. I would pass on this book. There are so many other interracial love stories that are far better written. Checking out Being Plumville if you want a good interracial love story.
