This book is a keeper. I found it very helpful. There's an abundance of books out there about how to dress and look better, but what sets this book apart from the others are all the glossy photos of the dos and don'ts. It's very helpful to see side by side which outfits are flattering and which ones aren't. So many books in this genre are so heavy on the text and skimpy on the photos. This author must have realized this because she has photos on nearly every page with real people wearing clothes you can find at department stores. I'm a very visual person so the photos were very illuminating. I'm no slouch when it comes to fashion. I've read enough fashion magazines and watched enough fashion programs to know what's what, but I now have an even better understanding of what's flattering to my body type. The proposed solutions aren't expensive or impractical. This is a great book for any woman really. I think all of us could learn a thing or two from Amy Goodman.
