I have enjoyed The Mountain Lake Series by Kim Vogel Sawyer. "A Heart Surrenders" is the second book and is the story of David, the brother of Samantha. David has a heartbreak, but finds love from an unlikely someone. This is a sweet, gentle book, and I recommend it highly.
