This is a very fast-paced and exciting read. In a lot of ways it reminds me of early Clive Barker, or a written version of An American Werewolf in London, but with a Greek island setting. Good plot, good action sequences, good sex scenes. Bit gory in places, but not gratuitously so. I've looked for other books by this author and all I've found so far is some info on http://www.rjdent.com/where there are other books, a lot of goos short stories, some poems and essays. Try this book. It's a good intro to this author. And it's a great read.
