She dies her hair black (her eyes turned violet when a Goddess came to indwell after saving her and helping her seek revenge), and she goes back to using her given name Garnet Lacey when she decides it's time to relocate and start anew.
Unfortunately, her new vampire boyfriend and her ex vampire boyfriend are as different as night and day. =) The Vatican is hot on her heals...and those of lover boy. His mostly dead wife won't stay buried. And his son has developed quite the relationship with the Vaticans.
Did I mention the Goddess indwelling her is Lilith? Oh, yeah, and she's decided she doesn't want to cohabitate any longer.

This book was wonderful!
