Hand-picked by her department's most influential but eccentric benefactor to help with a top-secret research project, Dr. Elizabeth Holden finds herself a virtual prisoner on a lush tropical island with instructions to "document and observe" a wild, Tarzan-like creature who might possibly prove to be the elusive "missing link." But the stunningly beautiful man is not what he seems, and Libby soon realizes that she must do something to help him escapeDa decision that sends them both fleeing into the jungle with dangerous but predictably romantic results. Overflowing with sexual tension and sensuality to match the setting, this fast-paced, well-written romance is both chilling and lightly laced with humor. While some of the conflicts are a bit too easily resolved, it should appeal to readers who like their romances sexy, exotic, and with a dash of adventure.
