While on a brief honeymoon staying at the Cranberry Cove Inn, Monica and Greg spot a small boat adrift while walking on the beach. As it nears the shore, they pull it in and discover a body in the bottom of the boat - stabbed. It happens to be the volatile husband of a college friend, so Monica agrees to investigate the murder. When her friend is arrested, she is more determined that ever to get to the bottom of the mystery.
