This one was a little different from the rest of the series, or at least it seemed that way to me. In most of the rest of the books, the person committing crimes or at least behaving badly usually had good reasons, or repented, or in some way the situation was redeemed. But this time he was just a person who deliberately commited a crime and did not seem to have any qualms at all. So in that sense, it was a more negative book. However, I liked that I couldn't tell till the end what was really going on, and I enjoyed the fact that Sadie's friend Roz got a big role this time.
