I guess as a mother I bought a lot of this type of book for my daughters -- for help in getting through difficult times with "mean" girls, feeling left out, talking to boys, etc. Sometimes it's easier to hear this type of advise from someone besides your mother. Sections on careers, dating, fashion, family connections, your mind and body, Also fun facts & trivia involving women: Who said "Let them eat cake."
