Very important and very accurate translation of Genesis, extremely important especially to women who feel strongly about how the translation of women created from Adam's rib has contributed to the devaluation of women throughout history. Korsak received considerable attention and acclaim for her translation and interpretation of Eve's creation as being from Adam's SIDE not RIB. Other differences in her translation of Genesis from the traditional Biblical translations are also enlightening.
