I am working towards becoming a social worker. In part because of my love for children, but in part because of Dave Pelzers tragic story. I picked up his first book "a child called It" and intended to read it while my kids played at the park one summer. I read a few pages on our way home and could not put it down. I then went back the next day and got the next two in this series, which includes this book. I cried just about the whole time that I read all of these books. It is a very touching book that is also motivating.
