I received this Kindle edition from Goodreads giveaway. I did not read the first book in the Farm - to - Fork series, so not sure if that is why I found it a little difficult to get into the beginning of the book. It did pick up about midway. Angie and a partner have opened an upscale restaurant in a small town. Everything is going well until her chef's cousin is suspected of killing his girlfriend. Angie proceeds to do some investigating of her own to find out who the murderer is when the main suspect goes missing as well.

I liked the interaction between Angie and her senior neighbor as well as her staff. I did find her to be a bit self-centered. Overall, a decent read, but not something I'd rave about.
