This is a beautiful and engaging book on the history of champagne.
Not only will you learn about champagne but how it came to be, who is primarily responsible for it and how the different regions of France and around the world greatly effect the taste, texture and experience of champagne.
I liked how Remi Krug described the wines like music, it made it easier to understand the complexity of blending and the tasting of wine.
The codes of the champagne producers was interesting and a great piece of information.
If you are a wine person then you will absolutely love this book, pictures and the immense detail that is packed in it. If you are not a wine person, you will still enjoy this book for the easy way to learn more about the history of a truly unique wine.
