This was an alright book. Nothing really memorable. The first 30 pages or so play out like a high school drama. Girl is quiet with an exuberant best friend who is picked on by a jerk of a cheerleader. I almost just stopped right there, but when the angel shows up it gets a little better. The book was flirting with being a good romance, but fell flat. I felt like it was torn between being a teen drama and being a paranormal romance and/or paranormal adventure. It flirted with both, never settling on one, and kind of felt like a flat and boring river rock compared to most books I've read. Read if you'd like, but I'm trading my copy on paperbackswap.com. I shouldn't have bought it, but did to order a $25 order at amazon.com.
