Granted, the story has an "old feel" to it, but it was published in early '91 so was likely written in '89 or '90. We're talking over 20 years ago; if you take that into account, I enjoyed it.

Mild spoiler - the heroine was date-raped as a teen. This is shared in flashback earl on and had bearing on the story. I thought the author did a great job with such a serious topic.

The hero was a bit more aloof than I like, you can tell he's patterned after the typical Harlequin Presents hero of decades past, and the 2nd half of the story didn't quite hold me as much as the 1st half, but all-in-all, a good, solid "Special Edition" read.

I especially liked the hero's daughter. Her character felt real & acted like a real teenager.
