Megan Ford proposed to solitary rancher Rick Astin. She promised to pay for an in-name-only marriage and swore their understanding would end in mere months.

Rick didn't need money as much as he needed a housekeeper. His house just didn't have that 'at home' feeling he wanted. Megan could get things in top shape and move on as far as he was concerned. But then again... a man could get used to a clean house. And a man could never get used to a woman like Megan.
