I actually listened to this book on a Playaway MP3 player. This is a beautifully written book about a man who washes ashore in Spain, claiming to be Christopher Columbus. He ends up in a psych hospital and as he tells his stories to his nurse, the tragedy that caused his break with reality is slowly revealed. This is a dense and weighty book and one that will make you think.
