While not a weighty tome, Mr. Block covers Rogers' musical career in detail. Photos are included as well as appendix lists of works, and indexes of his works. It is helpful if one can read music as sample pages of scores are reprinted. The main thrust of the book is his part in popularizing this form of the musical in the 20th C. There seems to be almost nothing about earnings, investments, and copyrights.
