He stalked the grounds of his estate armed w/ automatic weaponds. He played tank jockey in his own armored personnel carrier. Dressed in an orange jumpsuit, he often claimed to be the Dalai Lama.
But du Pont was also a volunteer cop who flew his own helicopter on police rescue missions. Obsessivel passionate about sports, he transformed a part of his estate into a world-class camp for wrestlers. It was here that Schult & other athletes of his caliber lived & trained on du Pont's tab.
