The Earl of Rockbrook, to escape an unwanted marriage, flees to the country where he meets with an accident...when he recovers consciousness, he finds himself being nursed by a simple country girl who he marries to escape the unwanted marriage, but finds her very different from the biddable girl he thought her to be.

A good romance in the Barbara Cartland classic style.
