Part 1 Southern Nights

The tale of two brothers. Barbara spends six months in bed/heaven with the dashing Jock. Knowing that there is no substance to this she moves on and finds the ever reliable, trustworthy, loyal Todd. Unbeknownst to either of them, Jock, the man who owns her heart and is a thing of the past is Todds brother. On a trip to meet the family all things come full circle and Jock aka JR is found to be one in the same and fights to win his damsels heart once again. Of course in the end he will triumph.

This tale was predictable from chapter one. Jock pushes his affections on Barbara, despite the fact that she is visiting the family ranch with his brother Todd, whom she expects to become engaged even though she doesnt love him, he offers a safe future. In the end, of course, Jock prevails and true love is stated and he sweeps her off into the sunset. It was 171 pages of boring, predicable gibberish and thats giving this story more credit then it deserves.

Part 2 One Of The Boys

I dont like him and I never will. Petras opinion of the great Dane Kingston. Words she eventually will have on a platter with salt and pepper.

Petra had worked hard to achieve the equality she had with the male cameramen. Even if Dane was the show's producer, he had no right to destroy her relationship with the crew. Just because he wanted her, didnt give him the right to presume she wanted him in return. But Petra did want him, though she fought the desire with all of her might, the desire was there and Dane not only knew it but knew how to bring it out of her.

By page 10 I had the stories ending predicted. I did the unthinkable and jumped ahead to see if I was correct and indeed I was. I continued to drag myself through the next chapter and had to put this book down. I could no longer insult my intelligence by continuing to read this story.

Petra Wallis is the single female representation on a New Jersey TV camera crew. She must work with the ever egotistical and of course, dashing, Dane Kingston, the director of the film. Boy likes girl, girl thinks boy is a jerk and eventually boy wins girlblah, blah, blah.
