I just finished reading this book and am still a little weepy. I stayed up late three nights, reading until my eyes burned and have no regrets about lost sleep. Jodi Picoult gives every member of the family their own voice and never waivers. Even without the names at the beginning of each chapter it would be easy to figure out which family member was speaking. Some people have complained about the multiple POVs but I would've liked to get a couple more, like the judge or Sara's sister. Very touching and heart-wrenching to watch Anna struggle to become her own person at the expense of her sister. Some parts dragged a bit and I skimmed to get back to the meat of the book but all in all a great read. I would recommend this book to friends and plan to mail in to a girlfriend as soon as possible.
