Joshua Kendall used to be involved in law enforcement until he accidentally shot and killed a young girl during a raid on a cult. Unbeknownst to Joshua, the girl survived under a new identity and is in hiding from the dangerous leader of the cult, so when Joshua is sent to protect the woman he thinks to have already killed, he finds himself surprised that she is alive and that the cult leader hasn't been brought to justice.
