I really enjoyed this book. I bought it on a friend's recommendation not realizing it was 'christian' bases (which I usually try to avoid since I've found a lot to be too preachy). I'm christian so the underlying message wasn't offensive and in a story where the c haracter is christian and trying to change her life by dealing with her past and accepting being overweight and 'invisible' to others because she's fat, that aspect of the story was perfectly logical and all the characters have their own personalities. this book had a few 'sad' places but overall I laughed at most of it and the way this author expresses herself/the character. myfirst by this author but I plan on reading more.
