I enjoyed it and will read more in this series. Caley Burke became a PI after her divorce. She was just involved in a case where she had to shoot (and kill) a man, in self-defense, but this has left her emotionally drained. She takes time off of work but gets involved in a murder case when the waitress at the local diner is accused of killing her own sister. The son comes to Caley for help. Murder isn't all she uncovers while investigating the case.
