This is a very good book - one of the best true crime books I've read. He is sent to prison for raping her. But he is released after just a few years into a work-release facility...and no one even informs her. She thinks he's still in prison. He sneaks away from the facility, stalks her, then goes after revenge. He kills her, her 8-year old daughter, and her neighbor. This guy was a monster.
