This book had a lot of sex in it, I must say. Perhaps that was the reality of the 70s and 80s ... not sure.

All in all, the book kept me reading, curious to find out what happens in the end. However, I can't say I liked any of the characters. It seems like ALL of them needed a healthy dose of logic and reason. They were so emotional and so all over the place, leaving much of their life to the whims of chance ... or, what I like to call, laziness and lack of personal responsibility for the decisions in one's life.

I couldn't relate to anyone. I can already imagine how the character's children will repeat the bad cycle of decision-making of their parents. I honestly hope most women have more sense than these characters!
