This series consisted of 25 books in Japan, but unfortunately the American publisher only released the first three editions. That is a shame, because this is a very likable series. The characters are (mostly) dogs, and the adventures of Weed feature some exciting confrontations as well as some sweet moments. There are some dog fights which might be disturbing to very young children, but this series should appeal to older children and adults.
