Lots of changes coming to affect Crispin's and Jack's lives. At the same time they have to deal with the past. And what happened to the female thief he was kissing on the rooftop at the end of the last book? And like Jack, I'm getting a little tired of cases dealing with stolen holy relics. But the big surprise in the book is the important London official who actually likes Crispin. Even Jack was stunned! And it looks like in the future we're going to have to deal with two Crispins.
