This is a reading textbook for use with the K12 Online Virtual Academies curriculum program for the fourth grade level. This anthology contains a collection of celebrated classics from different genres and cultures and includes favorites such as "Chanticleer and the Fox," "Brer Rabbit," stories from the Bible, biographies of famous scientists, and classic poetry selections. Some are adaptations, some are originals. Includes black & white illustrations. Both my homeschooled kids enjoyed reading this very much.
