A sweet story about a determined and caring house-sitter, Anna Nowell, who finds that the owner of the house is coming home. The handsome absentee landlord, Donovan Barrett, is looking for a quiet place to hide away from the pain of losing his son. Together they bridge their painful pasts and find love.

A refreshing book about tenderness, passion and generosity. The adherence to social classes in the Lake Geneva community (in this day and age) was a little hard to swallow, but it did add some friction that moved the characters to their goals. A "feel good" story with a smooth pace.
