I was thrilled to find both of these novels in one book. I started the Cynster novels rather late and wanted to go back and read from the begining, and let me tell you, Devil and Honoria's story is magnificent!! I loved their interactions and it explained so much to me about them. I was always a bit confused in later books as to their relationship since I hadn't read this one. I can see why he is Devil Cynster and I love him to death!
Now as for Vane in a Rake's vow! BLECH!!! didn't like it one bit! Maybe that's putting it too strongly. It was just a let down for me after reading about Devil and Honoria! To me there wasn't as much chemistry between Vane and Patience as there was with Devil and Honoria. HOWEVER, with that being said, it's still SOOO worth the read. I love Stephanie Laurens novels on the Cynsters. This one is great because you get two books for the price of one!!
