I've always been fascinated by the log cabin pattern and all the interesting variations thereof. This book has some truly amazing examples of subtling adjusting the basic log cabin block and using color to create spectacular quilts. All of the assembly instructions are included. If you're looking to make a stunning quilt with a fairly simple pattern using all straight lines, this is the book for you. Even if you only like looking at the pictures for inspiration, this is a very good book.
