Have to give this one a two. Which is sad because I really liked the first book in the series. However after reading this book I came away feeling cheated and slightly dirty.
The hero Brandon has endured a horrible past and final has a moment of freedom from his family when his friend and a guy we all trust Rene betrays him and gets him sent back. Then he has the nerve to go back and tell the guy's sister that he tried to save him but he just couldn't. Not a great ending and it totally wrecked the book... However it does force you to keep reading cause you need to find out what will happen to Brandon, the guy who just can't get a brake.
