The Jungle is Neutral: A Soldier's Two-Year Escape from the Japanese Army
reviewed on

Terrific story about a WW2 British officer who is caught behind enemy lines when the Japanese sweep through Southeast Asia. He becomes part of an indigenous guerilla unit, learning to treat the jungle as an asset instead of an enemy. Great if you like stories about survival against incredible odds
