Not the best Western I've ever read. Sure, there is plenty of action, but you also had to accept too many coincidences.
Like two armed bands of men leaving the "States" in the 1840s, from two different locations, and both arriving at the same place in the Rockies on the same day. I guess they had some sort of 19th century GPS.
And the man they are chasing, while he is able to defend himself, once he is caught with no way out.... a miracle happens.
