Book Review of Sixtyfive Roses: A Sister's Memoir

Sixtyfive Roses: A Sister's Memoir

I highly recommend this book as I think it is likely a clear depiction of the affect of a terminal illness on a family unit, the individual family members, and relationships outside the immediate family. I also thought it was a great depiction of the complicated sister relationship -- all the more complex with the constant presence of imminent death and the guilt associated with living while your sister is dying. My only 'beef' with the book is that there was a portion in the middle where I thought it dragged. That said, it is definitely worth the read. Cariou is an amazing writer.
