I got this for the 'gluten free' aspect - and all the recipes ARE gluten free, because they are grain free. Watch out for the tamari sauce required, though, as THAT is usually made from wheat and soy.
The photos are lovely, and the recipes are delicious, HOWEVER, they're going to be pricey. The recipes use quite a bit of nut varieties, which will be expensive.
I've substituted beef for the ground bison required in some recipes, which works out fine.
One thing I don't like - the beginning of the book emphasizes how we don't eat enough "sea vegetables" (seaweed), but there's not a single recipe in the book that includes seaweed as an ingredient.
