Pretty good follow up to first book. The community faces a few new challenges as more people start arriving at the walled town and setting up mini tent cities that pose a "threat" to the community's safety. The main threat however comes from within and is no shock as it is set up from the beginning. Just enough cliff hanger to read the third book.
