When I first started this book, I didn't think I would be able to finish it. The writing style was hard to follow and some of the scenarios were hard to follow with the abrupt characterization. However, I stuck with it and ended up really liking this book. Unlike other "fat girl" novels, she does not undergo a magical transformation to "get her man". I liked it much better than Jemima J and others in the genre.
