It took me some time to get into this book. It's written from 2 perspectives: a mother's and a daughter's. At first I felt like the daughter's attitude was a little childish, but as I kept reading, I finally determined why she had such a negative outlook. It was a little predictable figuring out what was wrong, and the book ends pretty much how I felt it would, but I think it has a good message overall. Forgiveness can sometimes be hard to do, but refusing to forgive someone can cause a lot of hurt. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
