I found the book moderately interesting, mostly on the plot level, and I did finish it, though I skimmed a great deal. I didn't sense much authentic regency feel to it, and I thought the author was much too fond of imcomplete sentences (and they're not in dialog or internal monologue either -- they're in the author's narrative). My main feeling was that I've read a jillion books just like it before, only better written. Lovely cover though.
