This funny and straightforward guide to party food was written by a bachelor who admits his "specialty is boiling water", and to whom "the kitchen is as foreign as the fourth ring of Saturn".

Over the span of 10 years, he developed these quick and easy appetizer and snack recipes "to impress guests who dropped by for a quick drink and a nibble before we trotted off to our favorite Hunan Palace."

The result is a clever and immensely practical cookbook for entertaining. All 101 recipes produce impressive & tasty results, especially appealing to guys, but none takes more than 15 minutes to put together!

Sample recipes include Lobster Canapes Carryl, Anchovy Garlic Rounds, Ham Solana, Pepperoni Provolone Spears, Artichoke Imperiale, Twice-Pickled Onions, Olive Blossoms, and Carrots Carlos.

As the author promises, "you will never slice a piece of cheese again!"
