Most of us know something about the Holocaust. Few know the story of the Jews living in the former Soviet Union under the Communist regime.
This is one of the most engrossing books I have read in quite some time. Frankly, I started it in the evening and read thru the night. I literally could not put the book down.
Certainly this book relates the extent of the brutality carried out in the name of Communism. More compelling is the "face" that the author puts on what we already knew about one of the most tragic events in the 20th Century.
