Kathleen writes in a way that reminds me of Mary Connealy. Her books are infused with good humor that makes reading the story a joy. Flora's Wish is no different and I thoroughly enjoyed being plunged into the lives of Flora and Lucas. If you relish the idea of taking a trip to an earlier age with mystery, pinkerton's and lovely ladies, this is the book to pick up. Be ready for a good laugh and a few lessons learned along the way. Like don't go jumping to any conclusions:) Can't wait for the next book in the series!
