I enjoyed this book-- and the heroine, Lady Maude Darnley, who is one sharp-tempered woman. Maude uses her tongue, and her temper, to keep the world at bay. Only one man sees past that temper to the woman beneath, Ronan Fitzgerald, minstrel and healer. Can Maude give her heart to the man-- a heart free of old anger and pain? Or will she let him walk away in order to hold on to her family feud and her private demons? This being a romance and all, you can probably guess what the outcome is, but good book with interesting characters.
